2011 TOUGH KIDS AQUATHON

(22 May 2011) The first race of the two-race TOUGH KIDS Multi-sport series took place at Matapang Beach in Tumon. The swim/run Aquathon couldn't have had better conditions as the forecast thunderstorms were no where in sight. Instead, bright, sunny skies with a placid Tumon Bay made for great race setting.

TOP "NO FRILLS"
DUATHLON

(17 April 2011)When news was received that a swim permit could not be obtained for Sunday's triathlon, the GTF board moved quickly to modify the event format and fifty-five athletes registered for the RUN-BIKE-RUN Duathlon. Two 5Ks sandwiched
the athlete's choice of a 20K or 40K bike ride. For 5 of the competitors,
this was their first GTF event, and with any luck, we have them hooked..
